What is whiteboard paint? Discover the possibilities of writable walls
ESCREO whiteboard paint is a dry erase paint that enables you to write and draw on walls or other surfaces, using dry erase markers that you can easily erase using a microfibre cloth.
Whiteboard paint is a popular alternative to traditional whiteboards because it adapts to your space and decoration. You can transform any flat surface into a space for innovation and creativity, and then quickly wash off and allow your wall to blend back into the background.
ESCREO writable whiteboard paints are also eco-friendly and anyone can apply them using our step-by-step instructions and free application kit.
All of our dry erase paints come with a 10-year product guarantee for the ultimate peace of mind.
Popular uses for our write on-wipe off paints include:
- Meeting rooms

The surfaces you can paint on Where can you apply ESCREO whiteboard paint?
You can use whiteboard paint on any flat surface, including wood, metal, walls, glass, latex and hardboard. We recommend applying the paint on a white surface for best results. Transform doors, desk, countertops, cabinets and more – the possibilities are endless.
Simply use a primer if you’re painting on anything other than interior paint and away you go.
If you have any questions about your surfaces, get in touch.
Measurements How much whiteboard paint do you need?
To calculate how much whiteboard paint you need, use a tape measure or meter stick to measure the height and width of the area you want covering and then multiply the two measurements:
Height x width = coverage
For example, if your wall is 1m high and 2m wide, you need 2 sq.m of whiteboard paint (1m x 2m = 2m²)

How long does the whiteboard paint last?
ESCREO comes with a full, no-matter-what, 1-year warranty and a 10-year limited warranty that your whiteboard paint will retain its original appearance and functionality. We recommend routine cleaning and using appropriate dry-wipe markers to extend the life of your dry erase surfaces to over three years. Learn more about whiteboard maintenance in the "Application" menu of the website.
Do I need to apply primer/undercoat?
Our paints generally don’t require a primer or undercoat before application, as long as you’re painting on top of existing paint. We recommend applying on a white surface for best results. If you are painting over existing/old paint we suggest smoothing the surface with sandpaper first. If you’re painting over a brand new wall or drywall/plasterboard we recommend using a suitable primer for the surface.
Do I need to buy double the amount of paint if I’m applying two coats?
No. Your ESCREO order contains enough paint to apply two coats, as long as you measure your surface correctly and apply the paint following the step-by-step instructions in your kit and on our "Application" page. Please do not dilute or mix the paint with other products as this may affect performance.
