We continue with our favorite series ‘Writing on the wall…’, where we talk about the Escreo walls or rather about the people next to them. With this material, we aim to introduce to you our clients’ and partners’ activities and ambitions, as well as to show you various and specific applications of Escreo in an office environment. Today we’re interviewing Petya Lipeva (Chief Navigator) and Thibaut Taittinger (Founding Manager & CEO) from Puzl CowOrKing.
How did you choose your wall’s design?
Thibaut (T): We try to think outside the box for everything that we build at Puzl CowOrKing. We have custom desks, shelves, arcades, even sinks! In one of our main meeting rooms we decided to install an old tailor table that used to be in the actual Vitosha Factory where the office is located. We matched it with random colorful chairs and wanted to add some space for creative collaboration. This is where Escreo came in. We asked you guys if you were crazy enough to help us paint anything we wanted and you said yes – so we did it! The idea of the wall is to act both as a place for expression but also as a strong design element. Can you recognize the famous artist that we got inspired from? (Escreo’s wild guess is the Dutch painter Piet Mondrian)
What do you write on your Escreo wall?
Petya (P): It’s mostly the CowOrKing members that are writing on the wall. So any type of creative business ideas and processes are shared there. The wall is definitely enhancing the teams’ productivity.
What are the differences between coworking spaces and standard office rooms?
P: Standard offices usually host one company within a specific space per m2. A coworking environment offers you one or many seats within an office full of people with whom you can share and interact. You practically rent a seat which gives you a full inclusive package.
T: Another big difference is the crowd. In coworking spaces you get to meet a like-minded community that is going through the same challenges as you. As a result, it’s often ready to help you grow personally and professionally.
What unites the people in a coworking space?
P: The people in Puzl CowOrKing are united because we’re focused only in the IT sphere and each company and professional working here is part of the growing Sofia IT scene. Therefore, the creative environment in the office organically forms and nurtures a vibrant community. Of course, the beers after working hours also help in the mission of uniting the people.
So – CowOrKing? Any other types of people we might run into in your space?
P: You may meet them all – the quiet ones, the loud ones, the crazy ones, the inventors, the thinkers, the players. It’s a different and colorful crowd and you may find some really inspiring people that will help you look at your idea from a different angle. If you want to get a feel for it or need some advice just come and spend a day with us!
