On the 22–25 January 2020, ESCREO took part in the annual 36th edition of Bett Show in London.
This year kick-started the education technology field with a blast. The Bett Show, which took place on the 22–25 of January, brought together representers of the global education community from over 146 countries under the roof of ExCeL London. The Bett Show has been around for a while, some 36 years, and has become a must-attend show in the event calendar for the industry.
You know what they say, “Go big or go home!”
Well, ESCREO’s team is all about big ideas, great challenges and progress. So we went to London to find inspiration and discuss the future. It was fascinating to see how technology and innovation enables educators and learners to thrive.
ESCREO attended the show as part of the Bulgarian delegation, supported by the Executive Agency for promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises.
“At Bett we believe in creating a better future by transforming education. Our mission is to bring together people, ideas, practices and technologies so that educators and learners can fulfil their potential.”
This year, Bett Show 2020 had six key themes:
- Empowering Teaching & Learning
- Future Tech & Trends
- Inclusion (Social Mobility and SEND)
The programme provided thought-provoking and engaging discussions about each of these areas. There were over 380 speakers and beyond 40,000 square feet of floor space with an exhibit at every turn.
Google, SMART, Promethean, Spotify, HP, BBC Learning, Sparx and ESCREO, were among many. Yeah! Look at our name next to all those other ones! It looks like a fit.
All in all, it was an inspiring experience! This was our first time attending the format, but definitely not our last.
